Job Description

The Business Strategy & Solutions Manager will own all initiatives to develop and scale business, execute,

and deliver an aggressive roadmap. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator and effective

communicator with a passion for education as a whole.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support in establishing business development opportunities in the ecosystem through a combination of market penetration strategies that span thought leadership, marketing, setting up of strategic partnerships to win bids and projects
  • Develop proposals/presentations/pitches and enable execution of relevant frameworks, tools, resources and related evidence to make a business case
  • Operating comfortably in a client-facing role, managing demanding internal and external clients in a positive, service-oriented way, building strong relationships and demonstrating adaptability to bring value to teams at all stages of business development and case work
  • Direct and indirect engagement with senior political, bureaucratic and education leadership in the states to ensure alignment, focus and action on achieving the project goals
  • Execute on strong Go-To-Market strategies and help establish product-market fit for SPs product offerings
  • Managing and communicating with senior internal stakeholders as well as external clients, demonstrating the ability to present and engage your audience effectively through high levels of sector and functional knowledge, impactful communication, and great performance on deliverables
  • Ability to use in-house data and technology capabilities to design implementable and scale solutions


Desired Profile:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Public Policy or advanced degree, with demonstrated high academic achievement in Education and Skilling Industry
  • 8+ years of industry experience preferred/public sector consulting/business development experience or proven track record as a strategy, operations or program manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter who loves to own things end-to-end.
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong executive presence
  • Ability to work across multiple functions - including Sales, Communications, Finance, with working knowledge of Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, HR and Operations
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Experience in analytical skills, and a strategic decision maker
  • Experience with budget management
  • Ability to work with different people and remain calm under pressure
